As promised, here's the series "Beauty and Decay".
I tried my hand at yet another style of pictures. In this series I paid great attention to the setting, the decor and the build up of the scene with accessories.
I hope you all like it.
Seeing my own gallery and those of other artists here on dA made me wonder though ... and I'd really love your opinions.
I've noticed that most people seem to stick with one style of imagery, "their" style if you will. My style seems to be that I haven't got one specific style. Do you think that "hurts" me (people don't recognize my work as being mine) or do you think the contrary is the case ?
Don't hesitate to give me your opinions but ... if you think I should stick with one style, please be so kind as to tell me which style you think I should limit myself to and why.
Thanks guys !
Oh and of course ... thanks to my Beauty & Decay models for enduring the cold, the dirt and all the creepy crawlies.
Thanks to Cynthia & Peter & Jacques & Thalia for the logistical help and thanks to i-kiss

I'm kidding too of course (although a modeltree would be great
I usually only post my art-photography on dA, but my main business is of course still fashion- and glamourphotography and since I usually sell the copyright to my "commercial" pictures I automatically lose the right to post them here.
But I promise, as soon as I've got some time to spare again, I'll be sure to upload a new set (I've got some new ideas ready).
Thanks for the "fanmail" though
Greetz,

A little question though ... what do you mean by it being "difficult to find the beauty of those to models" ? Do you mean they blend too much into the background or they're not naked enough (tsstss naughty) or is it something else ?

But on some pic' like "Beauty & Decay 26" and "Beauty & Decay 23" the face of those models are a bit dark. And I/We can't see well.
Do you know what I mean ?
(It's a bit difficult to explain like this, I'm not a photographer so I can't explain with photo's word)

Making the faces brighter (or any other part of the body for that matter
But I'll be sure to let the models know that you liked them
Thanks for the comment though my friend !

I think give opinion is a good way to improve his own work, so when I have something to say, I say it
Afterall I like those shots. Is it your work ?
